The Hawks are set to sign two-way forward Dominick Barlow to a two-year standard contract, as confirmed by Barlow’s agent, Todd Ramasar of Life Sports Agency, to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Currently, Atlanta does not have an open spot on its standard roster after signing swingman Kevon Harris to a 10-day contract on Saturday.

If Barlow is officially signed before Harris’ contract expires on March 10, the Hawks would need to waive another player to create room for Barlow on their 15-man roster.

Barlow, a 6-foot-9 combo forward, bypassed college to play for Overtime Elite’s Team Overtime in 2021/22. The 21-year-old spent his first two NBA seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, initially playing on a two-way deal in 2022/23 before his contract was converted to a standard deal to finish the season.

This year, Barlow has seen limited action with Atlanta, playing in 18 games (two starts) and averaging 2.9 points and 1.6 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game. However, he has been more productive with the Hawks’ G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks, in the 2024/25 season.

In 13 Tip-Off Tournament games for College Park, Barlow posted averages of 19.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 0.6 steals.

In four regular-season games, his production increased to 20.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game, showcasing his potential as a valuable asset for the Hawks moving forward.
