Indiana has offered a scholarship to class of 2026 guard Kayden Allen, he announced Sunday.

Allen is considered one of the top high school sophomores in the nation, ranked No. 14 overall, No. 1 among combo guards and No. 3 in the state of Florida by the 247Sports Composite. He's listed at 6-foot-5 and 190 pounds and attends Montverde Academy in Florida.

Allen averaged 24.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Georgia Stars at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam event. Montverde has a roster full of high-major commits in the class of 2024, so Allen has played in just five games as a sophomore and averages 5.0 points per game.

Allen has several offers, including Arizona State, Auburn, Cincinnati, Georgia, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Radford, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Central Florida, Virginia Tech and Washington.

Indiana coach Mike Woodson continues to heavily recruit Montverde, a national powerhouse program. He first landed Jalen Hood-Schifino, who went on to win Big Ten Freshman of the Year and became the 17th overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers after just one season with the Hoosiers. Hood-Schifino's high school teammate, Malik Reneau, is having a breakout sophomore season at Indiana, leading the Hoosiers with 16.5 points per game.

Indiana will have another Montverde product on the 2024-25 roster, with five-star small forward Liam McNeeley committing to Indiana in the class of 2024. His teammate, five-star center Derik Queen, also has Indiana in his top-four list, along with Maryland, Houston and Kansas.

Allen's recruitment also continues Indiana's recent efforts recruiting Georgia prospects. Allen is originally from Loganville, Ga. and plays for the Georgia Stars AAU program on the Nike EYBL circuit. Current Hoosiers Kaleb Banks, from Hampton, Ga., and Jakai Newton, from Covington, Ga., were recruited by Woodson's staff.

Indiana does not have any commitments in the class of 2026 or 2025, which is not uncommon, and McNeeley is the lone commit in 2024 so far.
