Indiana Pacers reveal new jersey patch partnership with Spokenote

The Indiana Pacers announced a jersey patch partnership with Spokenote earlier this week, making the Fishers-based company the Pacers official jersey patch partner.

Spokenote, a tech startup, is located roughly a half hour north of Indianapolis and is close in proximity to where the Pacers G League affiliate franchise, the Indiana Mad Ants, will play games next season.

The jersey patch features a usable QR code that will "give fans access to unique, never-seen-before Pacers' content," according to a release from the Pacers. The QR code will be on both the regular and postseason jerseys for Indiana should they qualify for the playoffs.

"Exciting tonight to welcome a new partner with the jersey patch. Spokenote is a company that's going to allow fans to engage with our team in a very new and different way," Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said on Wednesday. He had discussed the partnership with Chief Commercial Officer Todd Taylor.

Per Indiana's team-issued release, Spokenote "develops technology that improves how people communicate, providing tools for human expression and communication via digital media. The company's flagship product – spokenote™ stickers – connect users to the company's video creation and sharing platform."

"Very creative technology. Happy to have them on board," Carlisle said.

The Pacers debuted the jersey patches earlier this week, and there is Spokenote branding on the court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse already. Indiana also added to their uniforms via a stripe with a number 30 on it to honor franchise legend George McGinnis, who passed away late in 2023.
