Jayson Tatum Named Eastern Conference Player of the Month
Petre Thomas-USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Celtics are 15-4, tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the NBA's best record. They also have a chance to capture the first NBA Cup.

On Monday night, they'll face the Indiana Pacers in a quarterfinal contest in the NBA's inaugural In-Season Tournament.

Their early season team success brings individual accolades with it. Jayson Tatum has earned Eastern Conference Player of the Month for the games played in October and November.

The four-time All-Star generated 27.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists while leading the C's to a 14-4 record in that stretch.

Nikola Jokic received the honor in the Western Conference. The two-time MVP nearly averaged a triple-double, producing 29 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 9.2 assists per game, guiding the Denver Nuggets to a 13-6 record.
