Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant is out against the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night with a left ankle sprain.
The 36-year-old forward suffered the injury against the Portland Trail Blazers Monday, where they lost 121-119 in an overtime thriller.
Durant came into Oklahoma City doubtful with the injury, and Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic was informed that the 15-time All-Star would be out.
Durant hasn’t missed a game since Dec. 8, a loss to the Orlando Magic at the height of Phoenix’s worst stretch of the season. This will be his 11th missed game of the season.
An All-Star starter for the 13th time in his career, Durant is averaging 26.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
