The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers at Crypto.com Arena on Friday night, taking a 2-1 season series lead over their in-city rivals. These two teams meet again on Sunday to conclude the season series.
Friday's contest saw newly acquired Lakers guard Luka Doncic tally 31 points and five assists in the winning effort. Starting slow, Doncic came to life in the second half where he scored 20 of his 31 points.
Doncic was uncertain to play entering Friday's contest, as it was the second night of a back-to-back and the Lakers listed him as questionable on the injury report.
Ultimately suiting up, Doncic played 35 minutes in what was his first back-to-back with Los Angeles. Announcing their injury report for Sunday's rematch against the Clippers, the Lakers are again listing Doncic as questionable.
"Austin Reaves and Jordan Goodwin are doubtful for tomorrow against the Clippers," Daniel Starkand of Lakers Nation posted on X. "Luka Doncic and LeBron James are questionable."

This news from the Lakers comes after Friday's injury report looked identical for Doncic and James, but much different for Reaves and Goodwin. Each appearing in Friday's win over the Clippers, Reaves and Goodwin suffered separate injuries that now have their status in doubt for the rematch.
If Doncic follows a similar routine on Sunday to what he did Friday night, he will go through his pregame warmup before making an official call on his status. The Lakers guard has appeared in seven games since being traded from the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 21.0 points, 8.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists with his new team.
