The first round of the NBA Playoffs have just started, but there is already a strong contender for the best series of the bunch. That would be the four-five matchup between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers.

The first two games between these sides have been absolutely electrifying. Game 1 featured an overtime classic which the Nuggets won 112-110 after an entertaining comeback effort. Game 2 came down to the wire, with the Clippers winning 105-102.

With an average margin of victory of 2.5 points throughout the first two contests, the entertainment value is off the charts. Even the players are feeling that sentiment.

Nikola Jokic sounds off on Nuggets-Clippers series

Nikola Jokic's herculean efforts have carried over into the 2025 NBA Playoffs. The MVP finalist has averaged 27.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 11.0 assists in 44.5 minutes per game through the first two games of this series.

Despite that, the Nuggets are heading to Los Angeles with the series split at one game a piece. Is the three-time MVP frustrated by that fact? His comments after the Game 2 loss would not suggest it.

"I think we could be down 2-0, and I think we can be up 2-0. ... I think if you're a basketball fan, I think this is probably the best basketball you can watch.

It's both ends, like even mistakes, even big plays, like Kawhi [Leonard] had an amazing game, you have an amazing game by a player. I think we had a really good 2 games, and if you're a basketball fan, I think it's a pleasure to watch."

This series has undoubtedly answered the question from Russell Crowe's character in Gladiator. Everyone is indeed entertained.

Perhaps the two fanbases involved are a little nervous, given how tight these contests have been, but the viewing experience has been second to none otherwise.
