Nikola Jokic’s Agent Reacts to Bombshell Lakers Rumors

After the Denver Nuggets fired general manager Calvin Booth and head coach Michael Malone on Tuesday, betting odds were released for Nikola Jokic's next team.

Malone and Jokic helped the Nuggets win the 2023 championship against the Miami Heat. It appeared Denver was about to start a dynasty.

However, the Nuggets lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2024 playoffs. They are currently in fourth place in the Western Conference standings.

With so much turmoil going on in Denver, oddsmakers have given the Los Angeles Lakers the best odds (+500) to be the next team Jokic plays for. Jokic and Luka Doncic are very close friends and the Lakers already pulled off the impossible once by acquiring Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks.

Jokic's agent, Misko Raznatovic, saw that the Lakers are the betting favorite to land his client and he reacted to the news on social media.

"It's not hard for @bcmegabasket to accept second place if Lakers are in first," Raznatovic wrote on his IG story.

Jokic used to play for KK Mega Basket. It would surprise many people if Jokic left the NBA for KK Mega Basket.

After the 2025 playoffs end, the Nuggets will embark on a GM and coach search. Even though the Mavericks stunned the sports world by trading Doncic, no one expects Denver to follow suit by trading Jokic unless he demands a trade.
