Phoenix Suns could move on Mike Budenholzer this summer

PHOENIX- Senior NBA writer for Hoops Wire Sam Amico believes, “The Phoenix Suns could fire head coach Mike Budenholzer in the offseason to appease stars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.”

Speculation about Budenholzer’s future has intensified, fueled by reports of a strained relationship with Booker and the team’s struggles throughout his first season. With expectations high and results falling short, his job security is increasingly in question.

Budenholzer is the Suns’ third head coach in as many seasons, following Monty Williams and Frank Vogel. Vogel, who signed a five-year contract, was dismissed after just one year. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, it raises suspicions with the whispers starting already, but is it really surprising?
