Possible Kevin Durant Trade Destinations Revealed

The Phoenix Suns are currently in a tough situation, with an incredibly talented team, but with underwhelming results.

Having three superstars in Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker, and sitting at 11th in the West, they need answers heading into next season.

Regardless of results, Kevin Durant is sixth in the league in scoring, still making an elite impact on the game at 36 years old.

ESPN's senior NBA insider Shams Charania appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and discussed potential trade situations for the former Texas Longhorns star Kevin Durant.

He began his statement by saying "it hasn't worked out in Phoenix," as he gets into the trade possibilities revolving around Durant.

After almost being traded to the Golden State Warriors at the trade deadline, he will now likely be able to work directly with the Warriors on finding a trade partner when the season ends.

Charania mentions the Timberwolves, Knicks, Rockets, Spurs, and the Heat that had mutual interest both ways for Durant at the deadline, and expects them all to be in the mix once the offseason begins.

A big factor that gets mentioned as well is how those teams in the mix finish in the playoffs. The Spurs are likely the only team not making the playoffs, but they have a young, talented roster that could compete for a championship if they pair De'Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama with Durant.

The rest of the teams will have to decide depending on how their playoff runs go, if they think they are a "trade for Kevin Durant" away from getting a championship.

The NBA Draft begins on June 25th, and talks will intensify once that time gets closer.
