Ranking the five best Halloween costumes by NBA stars

As is tradition, NBA stars wore innovative costumes ahead of games this week in honor of Halloween.

Here, we rank the five best outfits.

5. Jay Huff - Kyle Kuzma

They say imitation is the purest form of flattery. Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma has often been ridiculed for his extravagant outfits, none of which were as outlandish as the gargantuan pink sweater he wore before a game a few years ago. Grizzlies player Jay Huff recreated the tunnel walk and even nailed the stoic facial expression. Kudos, Huff!

A flattered Kuzma said, "Great look. I appreciate it." The Wizards star is in Mexico City for Saturday's game against the Heat.

4. Rudy Gobert - Werewolf

A simple yet effective choice by the four-time Defensive Player of the Year. Over the past few years, Gobert has become the NBA's no. 1 villain, with scores of current and former players routinely calling him overrated, overpaid, etc. He embraced the antagonist tag by arriving as the big bad wolf and asked his critics to "cry more."

3. John Collins - Kakashi Hatake

Jazz players Walker Kessler (Woody from "Toy Story") and John Collins (Kakashi Hatake from "Naruto") were fully committed to their costumes. Collins edged out his teammate for two reasons: the attention to detail was off the charts, including the long striped socks, eyepatch and the ninja vest. Secondly, he capped off his tunnel walk by yelling "Sharingan" in the most Naruto way possible. Well done!

2. Pascal Siakam - Andre 3000

The Pacers star is becoming an absolute legend when it comes to dressing up for Halloween. In previous years, he nailed the looks of Wesley Snipes, 50 Cent and McLovin (from "Superbad").

This year, he recreated the iconic "Hey Ya!" music video by dressing up as Andre 3000 from Outkast. The costume was nearly perfect, including the green button-down shirt, white pants, suspenders and orange tie. He even threw in the wig and held a guitar to complete the look.

1. Victor Wembanyama - Kaonashi

Two years, two jackpots.

As a rookie, Wemby turned heads as Slenderman. As a sophomore, he took it up a notch as Kaonashi (No Face) from the iconic animated film "Spirited Away." The Frenchman deserves full marks for even nailing the slow stride down the hallway. It's rather amazing that the 7-foot-3 star was again able to procure a customized outfit to fit his frame.

Wemby registered his second career 5x5 game after arriving as Kaonashi, proving he's more substance than flash.
