Sacramento Kings Issue 4-Word Message Before Pivotal Dallas Mavericks Matchup

The first day of the Play-In Tournament is in the rearview mirror as both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference now have their No. 1 through No. 7 seeds decided.

For each conference, three teams remain with one seed for the taking.

The Sacramento Kings are in that group of three teams in the West as they head down to Texas to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.

The No. 9-seeded Kings are aiming to take down the No. 10-seeded Mavericks, with the winner set to hit the road to take on the Memphis Grizzlies for a shot at the No. 8 seed.

Both teams made massive trade deadline moves -- though the Mavericks dealing Luka Doncic has had more repercussions -- and are now staring down the barrel of missing the playoffs altogether.

Needless to say, this game is a must-win for both sides.

Both have been mightily mediocre this season, and the Kings have continued to slip since originally ending their playoff drought.

Kings send four-word message before Play-In game

Ahead of a matchup in the Golden 1 Center, the Kings issued a short and simple message.

The Kings, who revealed a slick matching t-shirt for every fan in the stadium to wear, while hyping up the crowd before the game.

Sacramento typically has a loud, ferocious crowd -- and they will need such on Wednesday to rally behind the team.

The matching shirts, providing a white-out in the arena, are a playoff staple and will have the environment that much more connected during the Play-In Tournament matchup.
