The Phoenix Suns season is essentially over, and superstar Devin Booker didn’t hold back about it. The team’s 133-95 blowout loss on national TV to the Golden State Warriors put them three games back of the 10th-seeded Dallas Mavericks for the last Play-In, making any hope of catching up close to impossible. Booker talked to the media postgame, where he had no answers for the team’s lack of motivation in a must-win game. The four-time All–Star continued how the Suns have “no winning habits.”

Full Clip of Booker on Suns struggles:

Booker opened up about the frustration of the current status of the franchise. The 10th-year Suns guard reminisce of the team’s success just a few years ago, where the franchise was in the NBA Finals and had a 60+ win season. However, Phoenix is long past those days, and the 28-year-old knows that things need to change to reach those heights again.

Frustration is high within the locker room of the most expensive roster in the association, with change almost guranteed this offseason. Owner Mat Ishbia has made it apparent the franchise will not trade Booker and will cater to whatever the All-NBA guard wants. From Booker’s strong words, the Suns front office will need to put in a lot of work this offseason to cater to his words of establishing winning habits.
