Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves made a strong statement in Game 1 of their first round playoff clash with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning 117-95 in Crypto.com Arena. Edwards, who scored 22 points but needed 22 shots to get there, is hoping to continue building a reputation as a giant slayer in the NBA playoffs. Last season he led the Wolves to the Western Conference Finals, beating the Devin Booker/Kevin Durant Suns and then reigning MVP Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets before falling to Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
“I mean, an atmosphere like this, it’s easy for me,” Edwards said after Game 1. “I’ve played in Denver, man. Denver is a tough place to play on the road, so this was nothing.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. After falling short of the NBA finals in 2024, Edwards went to work on his three-point shooting and saw success – shooting a career-high 39.5 percent from deep and leading the NBA in three-pointers made with 320. With that being said, can you name every player to lead the league in made threes since the three-point line was implemented in the 1979-80 season?
Good luck!
