The 2024 NBA Draft class was heavily criticized during its pre-draft cycle. However, as this class sees its rookie season's come to a close, it is clear that many went too far. Sure, the obvious star-power was not –– and still hasn't been –– found, but this crop of prospects delivered on contributing players.

Up and down the 2o24 NBA Draft board you can spot rookies who are already making a winning impact at the NBA level, or soon will be key contributors once a roster is flushed out around them.

As many panicked and sold their stock in the 2024 NBA Draft, the Toronto Raptors was one of the few teams who zagged, compiling talent back in June that has shown flashes all throughout the 82 game season.

The 2024-25 NBA regular season campaign is coming to a close, but Raptors rookie Jonathan Mogbo is closing the year with a bang. In Toronto's 126-96 win over the Charlotte Hornets, it was Mogbo who stuffed the stat sheet.

As Mogbo slid into the starting lineup, he played 36 minutes in this game. The San Fran product posted 17 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists and three steals on 7-for-16 shooting from the floor in a game that showed what he can be in this league.

Sure, he will not be a triple-double machine but he can do-it-all at this level. A defensive ace that can truly change a team's outlook on that end, with great feel as a connective playmaker, a rebounding hero and play finisher is a prospect every team needs.
