If there was any doubt remaining about Trinity Rodman's feelings toward her father, Dennis Rodman, after her tell-all "Call Her Daddy" interview, it is all gone now.

The 22-year-old soccer phenom made her feelings extremely clear on her Instagram story after seeing her father's long apology message, which she dismissed as "a joke."

The United States Women's National Team forward made headlines this week when she spoke at length about her broken relationship with the former Chicago Bulls star on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast.

She bluntly said that he was "not a dad," a claim the NBA Hall of Famer responded to publicly.

"Sorry I wasn’t the dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still try and never will stop," the elder Rodman wrote in a long Instagram comment.

Rodman, 63, emphasized that he loves all his kids and watches more of Trinity's games than she was aware of. His daughter scoffed at the apology and rebuffed the Instagram account that gave it attention.

"Nice repost," Trinity said sarcastically on her Instagram story. "A joke. The response alone. And the attention. Wiping my hands with it I'm done. Thank you."

Her dismissal of his apology was little surprise after the skepticism she showed in the interview with Cooper.

"Do I believe him? Yeah, I do believe that he wishes that he could fight his demons,” Rodman said of her father. “I roll my eyes because you hear something so many times but he does nothing to change it."

Trinity Rodman had a stellar 2024, scoring three goals for USWNT as part of the iconic "Triple Espresso" front line that led the team to an Olympic gold medal. Her club team, Washington Spirit, made it to the NWSL Championship game before falling to Orlando Pride in the final.

The last time the Spirit made the NWSL Playoffs was Rodman's rookie season in 2021. In the quarterfinals, Dennis "shocked" Trinity by showing up to the game in person.

"The whistle blew and I was so mad, like, ‘You took this happy moment from me. You (expletive) with my head again,'” she said about his presence at that game. The Spirit went onto win the NWSL Championship two games later and she won NWSL Rookie of the Year.
