Tyler Herro, the Miami Heat’s sharpshooting guard, has solidified his reputation as a postseason constant with an incredible 11-year streak of never missing the playoffs in his basketball career.

A recent X post by @playoffskee highlights this remarkable achievement, breaking down Herro’s journey from high school to the NBA. At just 25 years old, Herro’s consistency is nothing short of extraordinary.

Herro’s streak began at Whitnall High School in Wisconsin, where he led his team to the playoffs all four years from 2014 to 2018.

His dominance on the court earned him a spot at the University of Kentucky, where, in his lone collegiate season in 2019, he helped the Wildcats reach the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the Elite Eight.

Though Kentucky fell short of the Final Four, Herro’s impact was undeniable, showcasing the clutch gene that would define his career.

Drafted 13th overall by the Miami Heat in 2019, Herro wasted no time making his mark in the NBA.

Over his first six seasons, from 2019 to 2025, he has never missed the playoffs, contributing to Miami’s postseason runs each year.

This includes a memorable 2020 NBA Finals appearance, where Herro, then just 20, became the youngest player to start a Finals game.

His ability to perform under pressure has earned him the nickname “Boy Wonder” and the admiration of fans and teammates alike.

Herro’s 11-year streak is a testament to his work ethic, talent, and unrelenting drive to compete at the highest level.

As he continues to shine for the Heat, fans are left wondering how much longer this playoff streak can grow.
