Davis had been listed as day to day previously with the calf strain.
This is the second injury announcement this season for Davis. Earlier in the season, Davis sprained his left elbow during practice and missed around two weeks.
In his second NBA season, Johnny Davis, has had a relatively quietly season. Mostly because he hasn’t received many opportunities to get in the game.
Inside The Wizards Staff Writer Tyrone Montgomery shared in one of his articles on Davis’ lack of minutes that Head Coach Wes Unseld Jr has stated on the record the number of guards and wings on this team. He mentioned there’s a log jam there and that is why we haven’t seen much of Johnny Davis this season.
With the continued injuries, it will remain to be seen if the opportunity window for Davis will continue to be minimal or decrease altogether.
