The Denver Nuggets could only muster one win in their Round 1 series against the Golden State Warriors, but Nikola Jokic is still getting a sweet consolation prize. On Monday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news that The Joker would be named MVP for the second consecutive season, becoming the 15th player to win the award more than once. The 27-year-old's second MVP season was even better than his first, as he set career highs in points, rebounds, steals, blocks and shooting percentage. The 2021-22 season certainly did not go as planned for the Nuggets, but with Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. scheduled to return from injury to join the now two-time MVP next season, the Nuggets look like a force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. The NBA began awarding the MVP during the 1955-56 season. Since then, the award has been given out 67 times, including Jokic's most recent win. So with that in mind, how many players to win the NBA MVP Award can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
