2019 NFL mock draft

Oliver is the most talented player in a draft that's absolutely loaded with defensive linemen. He has 40 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss in five games this season. The 49ers are now in a lost year after losing Jimmy Garoppolo to injury, but they need help on both sides of the ball.

The Colts defense has made progress early this season, but there's still a long way to go. The team has plenty of needs, including wideout and offensive line on the other side of the ball, but a corner with Williams' ability could be too attractive for the team to pass on. Williams had six picks last season and already has two this year.

Between Bosa's core muscle injury and his brother, Joey's, inability to stay healthy for the Chargers recently, it wouldn't be a shock if Bosa fell a bit in the draft. That said, he's likely the most skilled pass rusher available, with 17.5 sacks in 27 career games for the Buckeyes. The Bills have shown early this season how much help they need.

White emerged as a tackling machine for the Tigers last year with 133 total tacks and 4.5 sacks. Early this year, he has 53 tackles in his first six games and would fill a major need for Arizona's defense.

After trading Khalil Mack before the season, the Raiders needs aren't a mystery. Their 3.6 percent sack rate ranks third worst through Week 5. Gary is capable of helping as both a run stopper and pass rusher on the interior.

The Jets offensive line could use some support, and the team certainly wants to protect Sam Darnold as he develops. With strong starts from Quincy Enunwa and Isaiah Crowell early this season, the team will likely turn to the offensive line if it continues to improve on that side of the ball.

The Bucs' secondary has been throttled this season, allowing 9.1 yards per pass attempt through four games, and former first-round pick Vernon Hargreaves is looking like a bust. Baker doesn't have the ball skills of Greedy Williams, but he's been a lockdown corner for the Bulldogs.

At this point, it would almost be surprising if the Cowboys didn't take a receiver in the first round, given their lack of weapons. Brown has been extremely productive through six games, with 44 receptions for 586 yards and four scores.

With Eli Manning's poor early-season play, it's become clear that the Giants can no longer push off finding a long-term replacement. Herbert is having another productive season for the Ducks, averaging 10.4 yards per pass attempt and completing nearly 65 percent of his passes. His accuracy makes him a great fit for the Giants' offense.

Deshaun Watson has been roughed up early this season, and the Texans have gotten very little going in the running game. Williams looks like another safe addition from the Bama offensive line.

Thompson's draft stock has skyrocketed as a starter this season, with 35 tackles and two picks in six games for the Crimson Tide. Atlanta's defense has been exposed this year due in large part to injuries but could still use help next to Keanu Neal.

The Broncos invested in Case Keenum during the offseason but only for the short term. Despite the Paxton Lynch disaster, they could still use a young quarterback. Lock throws a beautiful deep ball and has been extremely productive at Mizzou, though he still hasn't quite reached a 60 percent completion rate in college.

Ferrell opted to skip the 2018 draft and return to school, and he has been absolutely dominant so far this season, with six sacks in six games. The Lions are loaded with offensive weapons, especially with the early breakout of receiver Kenny Golladay, but they could use more defensive line help.

The Dolphins could use more help on the interior after losing Ndamukong Suh last year. Simmons has been dominant so far this season for the second straight year. Of course, we also can't rule out the Dolphins turning the page on Ryan Tannehill and finding a quarterback if their recent slide continues.

Washington added Paul Richardson in the offseason, but Josh Doctson's development has been somewhat disappointing. If he continues to struggle this season, wideout will be in play. Harry continues to be Arizona State's offensive playmaker, with 34 receptions for 481 yards and six scores in six games.

Seattle continues to rebuild its defense and needs help at all three levels. A physical specimen at 6-foot-7, 316 pounds, Davis has struggled to get past double teams this year but had 69 tackles and 8.5 sacks for Bama last season.

After losing Joe Thomas to retirement, the Browns have turned to undrafted rookie Desmond Harrison at left tackle. That's really all that needs to be said about their offensive needs in protecting Baker Mayfield, and Edwards has dominant ability.

Philadelphia's secondary has really struggled early this season, putting a cornerback in play. Oruwariye has been a shutdown corner at Penn State and also has six interceptions since the start of 2017.

Philip Rivers continues to put up huge numbers, but at some point the Chargers need to find a long-term replacement for the soon-to-be 37-year-old. Grier has been outstanding again this season, leading the undefeated Mountaineers on offense with 21 touchdowns and a 71 percent completion rate in five games.

It's become quite clear that the marriage between Le'Veon Bell and the Steelers is coming to an end and also that James Conner is no Bell. Love is off to a slow start this season after rushing for more than 2,100 yards last year but should be able to reclaim his draft stock if he can get his ankle healthy.

The Raiders could use several more capable pass rushers. A transfer from Michigan State, Sweat had 10.5 sacks last season and already has eight in six games this year.

Metcalf is having a breakout year and flying up draft boards, with 25 receptions for 520 yards and five scores in six games. His deep speed would be a great complement to Corey Davis.

A load on the defensive line, Brown had 57 tackles last season and has 24 in six games early this year. He'd be a potential solid addition in the 3-4 defense alongside Mike Daniels and Kenny Clark.

Tyler Eifert suffered yet another season-ending injury, so the Bengals will likely be in the market for a tight end. A great red-zone target, Fant had 11 scores last season and already has five in five games this year.

Minnesota's defense has taken a step back this year, and Everson Griffen's football future is in doubt. Allen is off to a strong start this season for BC, with 3.5 sacks and 29 tackles in six games. He was a tackle machine last year, finishing with 100 tackles.

Jacksonville's offense has started to sputter this year, and the offensive line has been part of the problem. Risner very well could shoot up draft boards if he continues to perform well this season.

The Packers could look at linebacker with their second pick, as they rank in the bottom half of the league in yards allowed per carry. Allen is having another great year for the Wildcats defense, with six sacks and 37 tackles through six games.

Seeing double teams, Lawrence's stats have been held in check early this year. He's still one of the top talents available at defensive tackle, as he finished last season with 33 tackles and two sacks in 11 games. The Ravens have stopped the run well this year (3.9 yards per carry) but could use more depth up front.

Carolina has been desperate for safety help this year, signing Eric Reid recently. Rapp has been a major playmaker for Washington's defense this season, already tallying three sacks in six games, and he has six picks in his three-year career.

We've seen some slipups from Brady this season with struggles vs. Jacksonville and Detroit, though it's unclear if that was on him or his lack of weapons. Either way, the Patriots need to find another long-term answer after trading Jimmy Garoppolo last year. A highly productive quarterback early in his career at Baylor, Stidham has struggled this year but has still completed 65 percent of his career passes in college.

The salary cap is unlikely to allow the Rams to keep all of their players, and Ndamukong Suh could be one of the high-priced players to go after this year. Jones has been nearly unstoppable at Ohio State this year, with 4.5 sacks and 20 tackles already in six games.

KC's secondary has been gashed early this year and clearly needs some assistance at cornerback and safety. Murphy has been an excellent corner in a very talented Washington secondary in consecutive years.
