Now that we're coming down the home stretch of the 2024 football season, we've got plenty of film to start analyzing for top prospects who are eligible for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Only one safety came off the board in the top 50 picks in 2024, but we shouldn't have that problem in 2025, thanks to a legit top-10 talent who should hear his name called early in the first round.
The overall depth of the 2025 safety class is still in question, as underclassman declarations will have plenty to say about the top-to-bottom strength of the group outside of the clear-cut leader, but there's plenty of promise. Modern NFL defenses demand much of their safeties in terms of versatility and intelligence, and the talent coming from the college ranks is reflecting that.
