Most would argue that the Buffalo Bills are at the pointy end of the Super Bowl conversation, with the franchise in a good position to challenge in 2025.
With Josh Allen leading the way, the franchise was one of the most consistent teams in football last year, and through free agency, Josh Palmer and Joey Bosa were added to their ranks.
Both improve either side of the ball, but with the draft coming up in the next couple of weeks, the Bills' attention will most likely be on one side of the ball, with the defensive line where the biggest improvement can be made.
For CBS Sports' Jeff Kerr, the Bills are one of five teams he's named that have to ace the upcoming draft.
"So how can the Bills finally get past the Chiefs? Finding a wide receiver to complement Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman is paramount, as Josh Allen could use all the skill-position players he can get," Kerr writes. "Buffalo will also have to address the departures of Rasul Douglas and Kaiir Elam, finding a starting cornerback in this draft. The Bills typically draft well under general manager Brandon Beane. They can't mess this one up."
The Bills were so close last year to finally slaying the Kansas City Chiefs, and with the additions of Palmer and Bosa, that is a good start.
But with three picks (30, 56, and 62), there is a real chance for the franchise to grab starting-caliber players on either side of the ball to help fill out the roster.
Having retained a host of key players, the Bills will look to the draft without a dire need, except maybe corner or an edge rusher, but aside from that, Buffalo is in a good spot.
But there's potential to be even better, and with the Chiefs seemingly weakened, this presents the Bills with a good shot at finally dethroning the AFC champs.
And "acing" the draft would go a long way to achieving that.
