The 2025 NFL Draft is less than one week away, and teams are looking to maximize their return on investment in one of the most important events of the year.

According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Tennessee Titans appear ready to embrace the future by taking former Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the top overall pick. Ward will take the keys to the franchise in Tennessee after he's selected, but what happens for the two teams below Tennessee after he's drafted?

The Cleveland Browns and New York Giants are set to select at Nos. 2 and 3 respectively, and reports indicate that movement could be in the future for each team ahead of Thursday's draft.

According to ESPN's Peter Schrager, the Browns and Giants are listening to trade offers for their top picks.

Schrager's sources tell him that the teams looking to trade up are interested in Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter and Ashton Jeanty. The Browns and Giants may be interested in taking a quarterback, and could acquire more draft capital by moving down to select one.

Alternatively, the Giants and Browns could trade back to address other areas of need. Ward is by far the No. 1 quarterback prospect in this year's draft, and moving down may not prevent either team from taking one later in the event.

The Giants attempted to address their quarterback situation by picking up Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in free agency. Wilson and Winston won't be long-term solutions, but they're seasoned veterans who have been able to win.

The situation is less clear for the Browns, who will likely be without Deshaun Watson this season. Watson suffered an Achilles injury last season, and he's still set to count for a significant portion of the salary cap.

The team's main priority in free agency this season was retaining Myles Garrett after his trade request, which they were able to do. They'll look to add more talent in this week's draft as they figure out how to handle the most important position on the field.

We'll see if the Browns or Giants commit to a trade for the second or third pick before Thursday's draft opens, or if they keep their selections and choose from some of the best players in the class.
