Bucs' Surprising Super Bowl LX Odds Revealed

Super Bowl LIX saw the Philadelphia Eagles beat down on the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in a completely one-sided bout. That loss, of course, ended the Chiefs' quest for a "three-peat."

Now the offseason has arrived for all 32 teams and will get into full swing in the coming weeks with free agency and the NFL Draft. For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they have already been well absorbed in these processes.

The Bucs did win their fourth straight NFC South title to clinch their fifth straight appearance in the NFC Playoffs though it was short-lived after Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders sprung a major upset.

Following that defeat, the Liam Coen saga began with the former Tampa Bay offensive coordinator flip-flopping before choosing to leave to become the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bucs then promoted Josh Grizzard to replace him, making for the Bucs' fourth different offensive coordinator in as many seasons.

That marks one of several maneuvers the Bucs have made thus far with their coaching staff. At this point, that leaves Todd Bowles team in the middle of the pack in terms of the chase for Super Bowl LX.

The Bucs slot in with +4000 odds to win the Super Bowl heading into next season, according to Bet MGM. That is good for eighth best among all NFC teams and tied with the Chicago Bears. Tampa Bay's odds, however, rank the best among all teams in their division.

The Atlanta Falcons come in at second among South teams at +6000 with the Carolina Panthers coming in third at +12500. The New Orleans Saints rank fourth at +15000.

These odds are subject to change and could move for the Bucs given the key decisions that await them in the offseason. Namely, Tampa Bay will need to decide on star receiver Chris Godwin.

Godwin is set to be a free agent and will likely drive a busy market despite a season-ending injury suffered midway through the 2024 campaign. The Bucs spent an abundance of resources on other core pieces last offseason and may have to sacrifice Godwin here.

Nonetheless, the calendar keeps turning as the Bucs and 31 other teams now begin the steps to prepare for the 2025 season.
