Cardinals fans indifferent about 45-29 loss to 49ers
Rob Schumacher/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

Because of major defensive issues outweighing their offensively productive afternoon, the Arizona Cardinals lost 45-29 to the San Francisco 49ers.

Coming off of a bye week after a 24-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 3, questions arose as to how the Cardinals would perform against the NFC Division leaders.

Even though Kyler Murray and Arizona piled up 234 yards of rushing and 436 yards in total offense, Deebo Samuel, Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey dominated throughout the game for San Francisco.

Samuel and McCaffrey had two touchdowns each and Purdy threw for 242 yards from completing 16-25 passes.

Additionally, this was the most points the Cardinals gave up in a game all season.

Falling to 3-11 on the season and officially being eliminated from playoff contention, here is some of the reaction from the “Bird Gang” after Arizona’s loss to the 49ers.
