Xavier Worthy cemented himself as a true weapon in the Kansas City Chiefs' offense during his rookie season.

Worthy carved out a significant role with the help of quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the play-calling team on the sideline.

During the Chiefs' 40-22 Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Worthy led the offense with two touchdowns and 157 yards on eight receptions.

Following the NFL season, the Chiefs announced Friday that Worthy is the winner of the team's Mack Lee Hill Rookie of the Year Award.

"No. 1 for a reason," the Chiefs posted, referring to Worthy's jersey number.

During the Chiefs' three-game postseason run, which also included wins over the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans, Worthy posted three touchdowns and 287 yards on 19 receptions.

In the regular season, Worthy recorded six touchdowns and 638 yards on 59 receptions. He led the Chiefs' wide receiver corps in all three marks.

The Chiefs finished the season with a 17-3 record. They entered the postseason as the No. 1 team in the AFC, capping off the regular season with a 15-2 record that included a 9-0 start to the season.

Worthy was drafted by the Chiefs as the No. 28 pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
