Coming off a taxing season that ended in a blowout Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, Travis Kelce is taking time to reflect—and he’s encouraging others to do the same.

On a recent episode of his "New Heights" podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about what the offseason means to him, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.

In a moment of pure reflection, Kelce shared how he’s prioritizing self-awareness and balance after a six-month period that consumed every part of his routine.

“But it is a six-month grind of you're going into the facility having the exact day every single Monday, every single Tuesday, you know what I mean?” Kelce said. “So you want to be able to get away from the game so that it's fresh when you come back in and you feel that excitement and motivation, like it's the first day of school or something.”

This offseason feels a little different for Kelce.

Not only is he one of the most recognizable faces in football, he’s also living in the spotlight thanks to his relationship with global icon Taylor Swift.

Whether it’s traveling abroad to catch her on tour or just spending time together off the grid, Kelce seems to be embracing life outside of football like never before in a number of ways.

Still, his message wasn’t about fame—it was about clarity.

“I would always tell people be real with yourself. Figure out exactly what you need to do, find what that means in terms of how you're going to get better at that and achieve that,” he shared.

And if that means hopping on a plane, unplugging, and finding something totally new? Kelce says do it.

“Don’t be afraid to go out there and see something you haven’t seen before. Go to a new place, or take that vacation with your family. Step away, recharge…”

It’s not just advice for his teammates. It’s a reminder for all of us that resting is part of the grind.
