Rodgers and Munn have become sort of a darling sports couple, as neither of them are afraid to joke around about their relationship with the press, though their relationship has also strained Rodgers' relationship with his family.

Former stars in baseball and soccer, respectively, Nomar Garciaparra and Mia Hamm have been married since 2003. Hamm was a star for the U.S. Women’s National Team, helping lead the team to a World Cup win in 1999, while Garciaparra was a six-time All-Star shortstop for the Red Sox and Dodgers.

Part of the reason many NBA pundits thought the Lakers had a shot at signing Carmelo Anthony as a free agent in 2014 is that his wife, La La Vasquez, is an actress who often works out of the area. Instead, Carmelo chose to stay in New York with the Knicks.
