There are several teams with issues all across the offensive line. Even after a busy start to the new league year, some teams still need linemen to protect their quarterbacks in the pocket.

The Miami Dolphins need help at offensive tackle and the interior line. The 2025 NFL Draft will be an opportunity for the Dolphins to draft their biggest position needs, which should be in the trenches.

Even if the Dolphins find a starting-caliber offensive line, they still need help on the interior at the guard position.

This 2025 NFL Draft class has some good offensive tackles, but it is rich in guards. A good portion of the best guards might be gone by the time Miami picks again in the second round. They might be able to get another guard by drafting a reliable tackle.

Chat Sport's Harrison Graham asked Arizona offensive line Jonah Savaiinaea if he prefers to play offensive tackle or guard in the NFL. Savaiinaea broke down his answer, favoring the guard.

"I've been asked a lot of that question but you know I can play tackle at the next level I feel like home for me is I want to put hands on guys right now and control them, using my hands and punch so I'll probably move inside and try guard. At the end of the day, I want to play guard."

The Dolphins have signed James Daniels, who suffered a torn Achilles during week four with the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. The Dolphins also re-signed Liam Eichenberg to a one-year deal. That move resulted in a lot of backlash from Dolphins fans and the media.

There could be some concern that Daniels might not be ready at the start of the season as he recovers from surgery. There might also be a concern that Eichenberg performs underwhelming blocking; much like he has in four previous seasons with the Dolphins.

It will also be good for the Dolphins to have a reliable and efficient blocker that can play tackle. Overall, the Dolphins could use extra support for their rushing offense which ranked 21st in the league. Miami could make a big steal in the second round; the No. 48 pick of the draft.
