Eagles confirm suspicions with QB Jalen Hurts injury update
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was slow to get up after being tackled by multiple San Francisco 49ers defenders at the end of the third quarter on Sunday.

Hurts headed to the blue tent before jogging to the locker room.

Reports later said that he was being evaluated for a concussion.

Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota immediately warmed up on the sidelines before stepping in for Hurts during the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Hurts was cleared from concussion protocol.

Mariota threw four passes before the Eagles made a last-minute sub for Hurts to take back over the offense.

While the concussion scare was something to worry about there for a minute, Eagles fans can breathe knowing his head is okay and his knee wasn't injured
