Eagles vs. Cowboys odds, predictions, picks and best bets

The 6-3 Philadelphia Eagles travel to Dallas to take on the 3-5 Cowboys in a pivotal Week 10 NFC East matchup.

The Eagles are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now, winners of their last four games. They trail the Washington Commanders by a half game for first place in the NFC East. Running back Saquon Barkley is the centerpiece of Philadelphia's offense, ranking second in the NFL in total scrimmage yards and touchdowns.

Jalen Hurts has been one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the league, throwing seven touchdowns and zero interceptions over his last five games. Defensively, the Eagles have been dominant, ranking in the top 10 against both the pass and run, as well as total points allowed.

The Cowboys are in desperation mode and need to go on a run, starting by winning this game. It won't be easy considering they put quarterback Dak Prescott on injured reserve this week, which will cost him a minimum of four games. Backup Cooper Rush will take his place, who has six career starts since 2017.

Rush will have to put the offense on his back as Dallas ranks 31st in the league in rushing. He'll also have to compensate for a poor Cowboys defense, which ranks 31st in points allowed and 30th against the run. Three of Dallas' next four games are against NFC East teams, so they'll have a shot to get back into the playoff mix.

The Cowboys have typically played their opponents close during their losses, but Rush playing at quarterback changes everything. Outside of wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who's banged up in his own right, Rush doesn't have much to work with.

The Eagles are loaded on both sides of the ball and Dallas just doesn't have enough talent to keep up. Avoid the moneyline and bet the Cowboys to cover the spread.
