Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles took care of business in Super Bowl LIX, taking down the back-to-back reigning-champion Kansas City Chiefs with a 40-22 final score at New Orleans' Superdome.
As the confetti fell, Hurts met Fox Sports' sideline reporter Erin Andrews for a postgame interview.
Two years ago, Hurts and the Eagles fell to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. After that championship game, Kansas City confetti rained down on the field. Hurts saved a photo from that moment and kept it as his phone's screensaver over the past couple years.
Andrews asked Hurts about the confetti during their postgame conversation.
"Look at the confetti. That was the picture you had on your screen saver, the confetti from two years ago. How does it look?” Andrews asked.
"Still processing it," Hurts responded with a smile. "i just can't wait to enjoy this with my family."
