Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has been retired for a year, and the All-Pro has taken it in his stride, but his brother Travis was borderline thinking about retirement.
With Jason seeking out Travis for advice when he made the decision after 13 years to step away from the game he loves, it was only natural to think that Travis, who was thinking about retirement, would do the same.
Except he didn't.
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason, somewhat jokingly, revealed that it hurt his feelings that Travis didn't ask him for advice on his potential retirement.
“I felt like, even when I would talk to you, and we didn't really talk pointedly about this, you never asked my advice on this, which I asked for your advice," Kelce said. So I feel a little hurt."
Now, it was clear that Jason was having a dig at Travis and vice versa because Travis' response was quick and to the point.
“You didn’t take my advice," Travis said.
After that, the pair laughed it off, and now Travis is back for another NFL season as he looks to make amends for the poor way the 2024 season ended.
Travis did reveal that the Super Bowl loss did play a part in him wanting to return in 2025 and in truth, we get it.
A future Hall of Famer going out like that isn't ideal, and now he wants revenge.
And we think that the next time he ponders retirement, maybe just shoot Jason a message to ask his thoughts on it.
