Jets vs. Bills Prediction Might Stun You

The New York Jets have been out of playoff contention for weeks, and at 4-11, wins have been few and far between for Aaron Rodgers and Co.

Coming up against the 12-3 Buffalo Bills in Week 17, it doesn't feel like the Jets have a genuine shot at downing the AFC East champs.

But with the Jets playing with house money and the Bills not wanting to showcase their full arsenal on both sides of the ball, an upset could be possible.

And CBS Sports thinks that the Jets will roll into Buffalo and get revenge for their Week 6 loss.

"The Buffalo Bills (12-3) played with fire in their 24-21 home win over the New England Patriots (3-12) in Week 16," CBS Sports writes. "If the Bills play anywhere close to that again, they will lose at home for the first time in eight outings this season against the New York Jets (4-11) on Sunday. The Bills barely won this matchup in Week 6, 23-20, in a game the Jets missed two field goals in the second half. This time, they won't be as fortunate as they lose a close one to a Jets team that has been riding the struggle bus this season.”

With nothing to play for, the Jets can play the villain in the final two weeks of the season—starting with the Bills.

While Buffalo can't get the No. 1 seed, it still intends to get the No. 2 seed, which would give Sean McDermott's team two home playoff games before going on the road.

But the Jets can dent the Bills' confidence, which was shaken a bit against the New England Patriots last week.

The Jets have had a horror year by any metric, but can they roll into Buffalo and pull off an upset? CBS thinks so, and with nothing to lose, New York might be all gas, no brakes in Week 17.
