Josh Allen Emotionally Reveals 1 Thing That Fuels Buffalo

All offseason, the Buffalo Bills have had to sit with the fact that the Kansas City Chiefs once again ended their season in the playoffs, making it four consecutive times Patrick Mahomes has sent the AFC East champs home.

And as it turns out, it is still eating away at Josh Allen, too.

After a superb regular season that saw the Bills wrap up the division midway through the year, Allen led the team to a 13-4 record and won NFL MVP as a result with his ability to reel in those turnovers, while putting up points through the air and on the ground a feature.

But as Buffalo's offseason workouts begin, Allen is still bugged by that three-point AFC Championship loss.

"It'll still sit with me," Allen said. "A lot of should have, could have, would have in that game. That's why we play is to be in those types of situations, and again, we're still fighting, still going to try to find a way to push through that. Whether it's them or whoever we got to play moving forward, but just use it as fuel and have a good OTAs, a good camp, and try to go into the season starting strong."

So the Bills will be using the loss as motivation, and given the franchise was so close to its first Super Bowl appearance with Allen, we imagine that Buffalo will be looking at this offseason as a great way to begin the climb again.

With Josh Palmer, Joey Bosa, Michael Hoecht, Laviska Shenault Jr., and Larry Ogunjobi, the bigger names added in the offseason, Buffalo, on paper at least, has improved from last season.

But OTAs, minicamp, and training camp are where the foundation for the year ahead is built.

And the Bills aren't short of motivation with their loss to the Chiefs burned into their psyche as the long road back to the playoffs begins with a single step in April.
