Lamar Jackson channels Jimmy Butler with wild new hairstyle

It’s the NFL offseason, which means players have a few months to enjoy themselves after a grueling season before turning their attention to the next. That gives them a chance to focus on things outside of football such as family, vacations or personal hobbies and goals.

For Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, he appears to be working on coming up with a new look for 2025. Jackson posted a photo of himself on his Instagram story showing off a recent hairstyle he tried out.

The QB normally wears his hair in braids, but had it completed straightened out here. It looked very similar to the hairdo that NBA star Jimmy Butler rocked a couple years back with the Miami Heat.

Jackson is coming off of a season in which he set career highs in both passing yards (4,172) and touchdowns (41). He also rushed for 915 yards to lead all quarterbacks and added another four touchdowns on the ground.

The QB finished second in the league’s MVP voting after the Ravens lost in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. However, he already has two prior MVP awards to his name (2019 and 2023).

Jackson has put up big numbers in his career thus far, but has never made it past the AFC Championship. As he prepares to enter his eighth NFL season in 2025, that will continue to be a narrative for him.

Lamar Jackson is signed with Baltimore through 2027, so he has at least a few more years to cement his legacy with the franchise.
