The Las Vegas Raiders released their first unofficial depth chart of the season, and with this depth chart comes opinions being sparked about what positions will have how many players on the 53-man roster, and things like that.
When this one came out, it was clear with a two-tight-end base set, the Raiders would be keeping one or two fewer wide receivers than they have kept in previous years. While that, may seem bad, everything is dependent on what that scheme needs.
So, because it feels like the Raiders are going to be keeping one less wide receiver, or maybe even two, they need to make sure they have every single person possible in that room that makes the team better. 1-5 they need to get correct. So, with an extra roster spot, and training camp in full effect, why not bring in another guy to compete for a spot?
They are doing just that.
According to the team themselves, the Raiders are signing former Washington Commanders wide receiver Dax Milne. Milne played in 28 games with two starts over the past three seasons where he totaled 15 receptions for 120 yards and one touchdown.
