The Detroit Lions are coming off another active draft, selecting seven total players over the three days of the event. While everyone is quick to crown winners and losers of the draft the day after it concludes, only time will tell if it’s a good class or not. However, the Lions have added multiple players, at key needs, that are worth getting excited about. To no one’s surprise, Detroit invested in the trenches, adding two defensive linemen and two offensive linemen. The other three picks were used on two wide receivers and a safety. The draft is only the start of adding newcomers to the league, though. As soon as the seventh round ends, teams frantically try to sign undrafted free agents.
