Whether it is Kayshon Boutte becoming a very impressive target for Drake Maye, or Stefon Diggs being the crafty veteran that this offense so desperately needed, this receiver room is miles ahead of where it has been in recent years. So the thought of adding yet another weapon to this squad is incredibly intriguing. Vikings wide receiver, Jordan Addison is a name that journalist, Albert Breer brought up as a potential trade target for New England. Addison is a very shifty receiver that could bring some serious downfield threat to Foxborough. He is a polished route runner that consistently creates separation, which is one of the most important qualities in an NFL receiver. Addison could immediately take this offense to a whole new level, and seeing him play alongside Stefon Diggs and Kayshon Boutte would make Patriots fans absolutely ecstatic.

Chris Olave, Wide Receiver, New Orleans Saints

One of my favorite trade targets for the Patriots is Chris Olave . Olave is a serious downfield threat that shows off incredible route running each time he steps on the field. He consistently makes huge plays and is a true weapon on the outside. If New England somehow manages to get Olave, we could see the connection between himself and Drake Maye go absolutely nuclear. With Stefon Diggs demanding attention from opposing defenses in the intermediate level, we could see Olave with some favorable matchups on the outside. Olave is a target that has many Patriots fans buzzing with excitement over the potential offense consisting of Drake Maye, Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, and Chris Olave.

How could a big trade impact the Patriots 2025 season?

If the Patriots actually pull off a big move before the trade deadline, it could have a massive impact on this season and beyond. New England is already the number two seed in the AFC, and they have looked like one of the top teams in the league so far.
