Ever since the New York Jets announced that they would be moving away from Aaron Rodgers and starting fresh at the quarterback position under new head coach Aaron Glenn, that speculation has turned to where the former MVP passer will play next, if anywhere.

At age 41, many think that Rodgers is going to hang up his cleats this offseason and move into the retirement phase of his life. Others have speculated that he has another year or two in him, and could end up with a playoff contender in need of a QB, such as the Las Vegas Raiders or San Francisco 49ers.

A picture on Instagram from Proactive Sports, a California-based workout and conditioning program, is sparking some further speculation on Wednesday.

In the photo, Rodgers looks like he just completed a workout with Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back DeShon Elliott. A week ago, Elliott stirred up some controversy when commenting on a social media post linking Rodgers to the Steelers. Elliott said that Pittsburgh should "Leave his ass at the retirement home."

However, it appears that they are on fine terms after working out together at Proactive Sports.

Are they on good enough terms to be teammates in Pittsburgh? That's a different question. While the Steelers have not publicly committed to a QB for the 2025 season, many have seen Pittsburgh as a great landing spot for Rodgers. The defense is among the best in the NFL, but the offense needs a lot of work.

In 2024, neither Russell Wilson nor Justin Fields were able to get much going on the offensive side of the ball. Will Rodgers be able to do more? Based on his career pedigree, you would think so, but looking at his recent stats — 28 TD and 11 INT in 17 games — it becomes a legitimate question.
