The 49ers signed Alarcón to a reserve/future contract in January 2024. The Dallas Cowboys waived him during their final roster cuts ahead of the 2023 season. While he has been active in practices, Alarcón has yet to appear in a regular-season game.
He entered the league in 2020 with the Cowboys through the NFL's International Player Pathway Program.
If the 49ers retain him, Alarcón will be eligible to participate in offseason workouts, training camp, and preseason games. The suspension will begin at the start of the regular season.
