Since their shocking upset of the Cowboys in Week 3, the Cardinals have lost six consecutive games to fall to 1-8. But their offensive outlook has improved dramatically with the activation of Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray, who makes his return from the torn ACL he suffered 11 months ago. As the 4-5 Falcons visit Arizona on Sunday, Murray will look to get back in a groove by directing passes to the familiar target we like for our top prop:
The bet: Over 55½ receiving yards for Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (FanDuel)
Nicknamed “Hollywood” in a nod to the Florida city he calls home, Brown has a connection with Murray dating back to their time at Oklahoma. When they were both juniors in 2018, the quarterback won the Heisman Trophy and his best pass-catcher averaged 110 yards per game.
A trade with the Ravens reunited the duo last year, and the old chemistry was immediately evident. Following a season opener in which the eventual-champion Chiefs held him to 43 yards, Brown posted at least 68 yards in five straight games. Injuries to both players were then a factor the rest of the way.
Fellow star receiver DeAndre Hopkins also returned from a six-game PED suspension, but he now plays for the Titans. In fact, he just lit up this Atlanta defense for 128 yards and three touchdowns two weeks ago. And both Buccaneers wideouts, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, comfortably cleared this number in the previous game.
Murray is easily the most talented passer the Falcons have faced in a month, and you can bet he’ll frequently be going to Hollywood.
