Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been to five Super Bowls and has won three of them.

He got to his fifth Super Bowl in February when the Chiefs were trying to win their third consecutive Super Bowl and become the first team in NFL history to accomplish that feat.

They lost in blowout fashion to the Philadelphia Eagles by 18, 40-22. They were down 24-0 at halftime and 34-6 at the end of the third quarter before scoring some garbage-time points.

Mahomes had his curly Mohawk going during the 2024 season but has changed up his hair during the offseason. He shortened the top of his hair and is super happy about it. He felt it was time for a change.

"I’ve wanted to do it for a while, but it was kind of one of those superstitions. I kept winning the Super Bowl, which is a good thing, but I didn’t want to cut the hair while I was doing it," Mahomes said, via FOX News.

He is hoping that this change brings the Chiefs their fifth Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. They have won four in total and have won three of them with Mahomes.

Mahomes had another stellar season in 2024, finishing with 3,928 yards through the air, 26 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He has been with the Chiefs for the last eight seasons and will be with them for the rest of his career.

He will be watching the 2025 NFL Draft with great interest when it starts at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday. Friday will feature rounds two and three, and Saturday will have rounds four through seven.

ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network will have television coverage of the draft.
