Not long into the second day of the legal tampering period, and the Las Vegas Raiders have already lost another player.
On Tuesday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that former Raiders linebacker Divine Deablo is signing a two-year, $14 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons. The deal reportedly comes with $8 million in the first year.
Drafted in the third round by the Raiders in 2021, Deablo finished up his rookie contract and is now headed elsewhere to continue his NFL career.
In his first four seasons in the NFL, Deablo appeared in 54 games (42 starts) for the Raiders. In 2024, Deablo recorded 63 total tackles, four tackles for loss and one sack. He was a common sight on the field for the Raiders, playing on 75 percent of defensive snaps during his time with the Raiders.
With the Raiders now losing both of their starting linebackers and signing Elandon Roberts on Monday, the plan at the position continues to evolve.
