A few months ago, Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker was accused of displaying inappropriate behavior during massage sessions. Although he's still on their roster, it appears his days are numbered.
The Baltimore Banner reported in January that six massage therapists accused Tucker of harassment. It didn't take long for that number to shoot up to 16 massage therapists. If that wasn't bad enough, it was reported that at least two massage parlors banned him because of his behavior.
Tucker has already denied these concerning allegations.
"I did not act inappropriately at any point before, during, or after a professional bodywork treatment session, nor have I ever been told I am unwelcome at any massage therapy provider," Tucker told OutKick. "I absolutely respect the massage therapy profession and more so the individuals who work as massage therapists."
Despite that statement from Tucker, the Ravens are doing what's best for them. And what's best for them right now is to find a replacement.
With the No. 186 overall pick in this year's draft, the Ravens selected kicker Tyler Loop from Arizona. He made 67-of-80 field goal attempts during his college career.
ESPN's Adam Schefter believes this was Baltimore's way of making a statement to Tucker.
"Here, the Ravens make a loud statement. Teams rarely use picks on kickers without the intent of having those rookies come in and win those jobs," Schefter said. "Once the Ravens take Tyler Loop from Arizona in the sixth round, that tells you that Justin Tucker's future in Baltimore is very much up in the air."
Well, it certainly sounds like Tucker is on his way out. If that's true, he'll finish his career in Baltimore with over 400 field goals made and seven Pro Bowl appearances.
The NFL has not yet completed its investigation into Tucker's sexual misconduct allegations.
