Mitch Trubisky and the Pittsburgh Steelers have mutually decided to part ways, according to NFL insider Mike Garafolo.
Per the report, Trubisky recently spoke with those in the Steelers organization to assess his future. Both have decided it best for the 29-year-old quarterback to get a fresh start with a new team out of free agency.
Trubisky has amassed over 12,000 career passing yards and has thrown 72 touchdowns over a seven-year career. He started at quarterback for four seasons with the Chicago Bears after being selected No. 2 overall in 2017.
