The Dallas Cowboys have finally gotten a bit of good news regarding one of their player’s injuries.

CeeDee Lamb landed hard on his right shoulder while trying to catch a touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter of the Cowboys’ 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Reports indicated the Pro Bowl wide receiver suffered a sprained AC joint.

On Monday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Lamb’s shoulder is sore, but the injury is not considered serious. Lamb is expected to have a chance to play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10.

The same cannot be said for Dak Prescott, who left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury. Prescott is expected to miss multiple weeks after tests revealed that his injury is more severe than initially believed.

Lamb finished with eight catches for 47 yards. He had a breakout game with 13 catches, 146 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers last week, so his play has been trending in the right direction. Assuming he can suit up, Lamb will likely have to try to keep the momentum going with Cooper Rush over the next several games.
