Longtime NFL analyst and former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Terry Bradshaw is considering retirement. He's been a part of the FOX NFL team for decades, but fans have noticed signs of decline in his on-air performance.
Bradshaw is thinking about retirement at the age of 76 and years of dedication to the game of football, but one of his daughters is dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster.
A tornado affected the ranch that Bradshaw's daughter Erin lives on, and the world champion equestrian revealed that two of their horses were hurt in the damage.
“It got a little western at 5 am here," Erin said. "
Two of our loafing sheds got tossed like golf balls. Sadly one loafing shed was in our mare and baby pasture. We lost one baby and have one mare with a severe cut to her back leg that is due any day with her baby at the vet clinic.”
"Not what anyone wants to wake up too and we are heartbroken to lose a baby but things could have been worse. I’m glad our home is okay. I have no idea what hit us but it had a little path through our property and down our road like a small tornado," she added.
Bradshaw also thanked those who helped her clean up after the tornado ripped through the ranch.
"Thank you Steve Owens for coming first thing and cleaning with his crew and doing a total clean up. And thank you Weems and Stephens for the emergency vet care early this morning. Texas you can kiss my ass today. And now we have a dust storm," Erin said on her Instagram story.
Erin was born in 1989 and developed an affinity for horses while growing up. She followed her passions to become a professional rider.
"[My dad] put me on a horse when I was 5, and really let me start living that dream," she told Cowgirl Magazine.
"Without him, I don't really think I would have even started riding."
We'll see if Bradshaw's family has an impact on his decision to retire or not this offseason. Hopefully his daughter's ranch has seen the last of any natural disasters in the area.
