The Tennessee Titans had plenty of holes in their roster last season, which is why the team could only muster three wins the entire year. However, the team's new general manager, Mike Borgonzi, has begun reconstructing the roster at an impressive rate this offseason through both trade and the free agent market.
While Borgonzi has certainly patched up several of the team's deficiencies in recent weeks, he has not addressed every need, especially the wide receiver position. On Wednesday, however, former Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns wide receiver James Proche announced on his Instagram that he was signing with the Tennessee Titans.
Proche was selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens and spent three years with the franchise before signing with an AFC North foe, the Cleveland Browns. He spent his last two seasons in Cleveland, playing in 19 games, before joining the Titans on Wednesday.
He has caught 28 passes for 299 yards in his career and has appeared in two playoff games. Proche also had an impressive 4.4-second time in the 20-yard shuttle drill at the NFL combine, which helped him sneak into the sixth round after a solid college career at SMU. He should primarily be a special teams player for the Titans if he makes the roster, but with a thin wide receiver room, anything is possible.
