Tom Brady reveals hidden Patriots secret

When Tom Brady and Bill Belichick led the New England Patriots, there was a lot that was left in the shadows. But now that the two have retired, more and more secrets are coming out.

On his YouTube channel, Brady revealed that Josh McDaniels and the offense hid plays from the legendary head coach. Brady showed viewers his old game notes and call sheets from his time in New England, items he still possesses even though his playing days are long gone.

"This is our final call sheet," Brady said. "There's about 95 plays and Josh (McDaniels) always hid plays in here from Bill because Bill never wanted a high play count. Josh would asterisk plays. Then, there was the back of the call sheet. We probably ended up having 150 plays."

These sorts of fun facts and insights will be a great asset when Brady begins his career as a broadcaster this year. He will be able to give fans a look behind the curtain at one of the greatest dynasties in football history.

Brady also is a football genius. The quarterback performed at such a high level that he sees things that other players simply can not. Football fans don't need to be reminded of his seven Super Bowl rings, 15 Pro Bowl nods and five Super Bowl MVPs.

The former quarterback will not only look to be entertaining but will also have an opportunity to educate football fans. His high-level knowledge will make him almost like a professor in the broadcast booth with football fans across the globe getting a free education on the game they love.

The former Patriots quarterback will begin his broadcasting career by serving as a color commentator on Fox's coverage of the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns game in Week 1. He will surely provide more insight and even spill some more secrets as he begins his broadcasting career.
